About
I have long had a passion for the health care field. My first summer job as a teenager was in an Operating Room as a ward clerk. I trained as a primary care paramedic and have worked in administrative support for many specialties, including Respirology, Interventional Cardiology and, most recently, Urogynecology. Although I loved my time at McMaster University, my move to Smithville made me reevaluate what I really wanted to do, which had always been to help physicians. After 34 years in the medical profession in different roles, I gained proficient knowledge in billing and coding.

History
In 2015, out of my home, I established Optimal Billing Solutions.
My business has grown from a handful of physicians to over 200 Ob/Gyne's from all over Ontario. Although I have done billing sessions with physicians to educate them on the basics of billing, I have never had to advertise my services. My knowledge and expertise have increased my business just by word of mouth. I am proud that this has allowed my business to grow exponentially and I moved from my home to a beautiful office that employs over 20 billing agents. We are still growing!

It is with great pleasure that I am able to teach new graduates as well as seasoned specialists to maximize their billing and reap the financial rewards for the years of education, training, and sacrifice they have made to be part of this undervalued specialty.
